I was just in this panel on creativity and it was fantastic. The sole panelist was a yoga teacher of some sort and had a really interesting perspective on how posture, breathing, stretching, etc can have dramatic effects. It was probably the first (only?) panel I’ve seen that actually got people to get off theirContinue reading “Creativity Panel”

At SxSW!
Here at SxSW, it’s looking good. Just caught the tail end of Andy Clarke’s and Andy Budd’s panel. Quite good, amazing slides.
Paris Metro
I loved the signs they had there:
Web and Email Woes
As you may have noticed, photomatt.net has been down along with mullenweg.com, which means that I can’t blog and I’m not getting any email. It’s very rough! There seems to be a hardware problem with the server, so hopefully the people at the DC can get it sorted soon enough and I can get backContinue reading “Web and Email Woes”
I Met Donncha
And there is proof on Flickr.
At Les Blogs
I’m here at the Les Blogs conference, which seems to be well-attended. The wifi is mostly working, though extraordinarily slow. I think the only problem is the chairs are too comfortable, as I see quite a few dozing off. It’s an old-style conference, with very little audience participation. I believe this room is used asContinue reading “At Les Blogs”
Another Theme: Toni
By popular request I just added the Toni theme, which I had to adapt a bit because it was designed for WordPress 1.0. 🙂 This one has a few color options we’ll try to make available soonish. In fact all of the current themes will be getting some more color, photo, and sidebar customizations inContinue reading “Another Theme: Toni”
Thanksgiving Theme: Regulus
Here’s another new one: Regulus. Again, check it out under your presentation tab! 🙂 If you guys have any favorite themes leave their names and links in the comments to this post and I’ll look into adding them.
Multiuser blogs now supported
We actually turned this on a few days ago, but I don’t think anyone blogged about it. You should be able to add other WordPress.com users to your blog now with different capabilities, try it out under the Users tab.
Theme Thanksgiving: Neat!
New theme for you WordPress.com guys to try out, called neat. You’ll find in under your “Presentation” tab.
Getting Very Close
As you can see in our bug tracker, we’re getting very close to the next release of WordPress. Once we iron out one or two more things we’re going to release a beta for wider testing. Users of WordPress.com should see the fixes and enhancements starting sometime tonight! Make sure to use the feedback formContinue reading “Getting Very Close”
Mail Fixed
There was a funky bug where some servers (including my own mullenweg.com) weren’t getting mail from WordPress.com. Detective Donncha was on the case and tracked it down and all that mail should start going through now.
