I love sushi insanely too much. Being in Austin, Texas, I miss it dearly. Maybe there are some places that I could get it that are good though!
I live on South Lamar, I just get eerie because I’ve pretty much always lived closer to the ocean than I do now..so I’m like..how far did the seafood come from? But I guess there are magical feats of transportation and technology that keep it amazing 🙂 Me and my boyfriend actually did get a beer at a place downtown once..the one with weird glowing jellyfish in the front…we planned on going back for real sushi but never did!
The law in the US is that all sushi has to be frozen before it is served. So next to the ocean or in Austin, you’re getting pre frozen fish. I am pretty sure Matt still here right now after the races. He may have left.

Try Kenichi Austin Sushi off Colorado Street, a well known Sushi place and great Sushi quality. Not cheap though.
