  1. Beans, egg, bacon, toast and tomato (looks like my B&B breakfast in London so far), but what is the square thing? Not the right shape for haggis…unless the haggis it that blob in the middle?

    1. You know, I’m not really sure. I was hoping it would be blood sausage but it was something else very dry and bread-y. I think I like Irish breakfast better.

  2. LOL… as an edinburgh resident I’ve been watching these tweets and twitpics from “bonnie scotland”. I take it your here on holiday?

    Anyway, to answer Jennifer’s question – the “square thing” is lorne sausage (aka square sausage). Comes in a big block and you cut a bit off the end, or most shops sell it pre cut. Is a staple of the non-healthy scots diet :o)
