One less thing to carry in an airport! That’s actually a genuinely useful use for it. Is there a TripIt app for it yet? That would be pretty perfect as well.

There is a Tripit app! I still used my phone though because though the security gate scanner was fine (it faces up), the one at the gate for the airplane doesn’t really have room for your hand to fit underneath it.
