We’re going to be in South Africa next month! Is there a big WP community there?
Actually it looks like the ‘W’ is made with yarn; or some similar material. Proof positive that WordPress has touched & reached countries near & far..I’ve been on the net since way backintheday and with all of my experience; WP is high on my list of faves. Very high. And that is saying quite a bit. Kudos!
@ittybunny @bernasvibe @danaethedietitian It is made from purely wire and beads. We got some of our Artists from http://www.stribal.com/ to make them. Heard Matt was coming last night and got 2 of our Artists to try and get something together. Very happy with the results. One is for a mobile and the other can also take a mobile or business cards. Thanks for taking a look.

Is this wood or metal, that the “W’s” are made from? Very pretty!

Ingenious WP art!
South Africa has so many creative people. I regret not buying more art when we visited, especially the baskets made out of telephone wire.
–And nobody asked for handouts, rather, they made really cool stuff to sell out of found objects and natural materials.
So many things in that country are hand-crafted, and so many artists there are truly admirable.
