Since it was leaked last night, thought would share this prototype with everybody. 🙂 The laptop on the right is a 13″ Macbook Air that’s been modified to have a glowing WordPress logo instead of the standard Apple. I’m really happy with how it turned out, though I need to start adding stickers again.

Looks kinda like photoshopped and a bit like the Volkswagen logo. 🙂 If it is real, how may I let edit my Air to this beauty? ps. definitly you don’t need any stickers 😉

I believe you do — no plans to sell it.

The WordPress Foundation owns the trademark for the WP logo and allows some use. Not sure if this would be allow or if colorware.com would be game. I’m sure Matt or someone can give them the heads up to allow any work like this that isn’t for commercial use.

love it, the Macbook Air is the best notebook I’ve ever had and that’s even compared to a 17″ powerbook and 17″ macbook pro that I had.

Nice! While we wouldn’t do this to all our laptops, we do something similar via a sticker of our logo with a transparent cut-out. The glow effect is mostly the same.
