Ah. I’d had something that looked just like it at my kids school the night previously… only in my case the seeds and green slivers were from jalapeños. That was for their Ramadan festival though, so when I saw what looked very similar on your plate called Israeli salad, I was curious as to whether they tasted the same way, too.
At any rate it looks like a nice meal 🙂 Have a great time at WordCamp!
